What is the Cold war?
Basically the "COLD WAR" was a vicious battle between the United States and The USSR which is now known as Russia.
The war started approximately after the World War One which like 1947 and probably ended in the early Ninety's, 1991 (the fall of the Soviet Union). The 'Cold War' was named because the two major superpower, each having a Nuclear bomb and threatening each other of the destruction they would do, but there was no direct combat between them.
The cold war ended when Russia invaded Afghanistan in 1979 was another pivotal moment but ultimately the Soviets were the losers in a long and bad conflict which resulted in many casualties.From this point, relationships spread towards the end of the 1980’s as Presidents Reagan and Gorbachev begin to strike accords and with the fall of the Soviet Union, the Cold War as we knew it was at an end.
